In that case it is “another”. I’d say you almost never use “an other”. “Angle” (vinkel) is spelled like this. Otherwise it’s “ängel”.

I guess the way to know how to write it is like in Swedish. If you say “an other”, write “an other”. If you say “another” write “another”. Write it as you’d say it.

It is more appropriate to use another when referring to an additional noun. 

For example: 

Would you like another cup of coffee?

It is more appropriate to use an other when talking about a different noun. 

For example:

I looked at Leo and we shrugged at one an other.

Nowadays, another is used in both examples much more frequently. I looked at the Corpus (which I'll make a definition post later for). An other is used 170 times in Contemporary American English. Another is used 35478 times.

In the sentence: "The white rabbit from a different angle."

It would be more correct to write: "The white rabbit from another angle", as opposed to: "The white rabbit from an other angle". 

The reason being that Emo wants to display the white rabbit from an additional angle, or an alternative angle, or a different angle. 

Angle is the constant noun which is being determined in the sentence. "Another" and "An other" are called "determiners" in English.
