Plural form of the noun 'crisis'
I am writing a motivational letter (one of many 
) in order to apply to a graduate programme.
I had to double check the plural form of 'crisis', and it turns out… it is, in fact, 'crises'.
So now you know too! Unless you already knew

Almost like Swedish, where ”kris” becomes ”kriser”. :-)

I often do the same thing with plurals as well! I remember a time where I just couldn't remember the plural for focus (foci)
#4 I actually didn't know that!
