Effective or efficient?
I haven’t understood the difference between effective and efficient. To me they seem to be used interchangeably.
Can someone explain the difference?

I would say efficient is more related to doing something with optimal ability and where the timing is sufficiently optimised.
Whereas, effective is more related to doing something productive and successful.

Okay, that helped a bit. I mostly use efficient. Hopefully that’s what I mean too. ;-)

I felt like this question was familiar.

Effective: doing the right things (e.g. producing stuff that a market asks for).
Efficient: doing the things right (e.g. produce stuff with a minimum of resource requirements, like time, people, environmental impact etc)
Both #1 and #4 are correct, I'd link effectiveness with how successful something is, and efficiency with how something can be done in the most useful way.
Thanks, both of you!

Example; Evelina is very efficient at implementing effective changes in the work place.
Happy creating!
